I have received a Bescheid from Germany how do I pay my German Taxes?

This is a question our firm gets daily. The Finanzamt Neubrandenburg (RiA) is the Central tax office for pensioners residing abroad. And they have an online payment system to pay via credit card. Pay online – it’s quick, easy and secure!

 You can now pay your taxes securely and cost-effectively online.

To do this, you require a credit card that supports 3D Secure authentication.

Please note that you can only use this service for paying taxes to the Neubrandenburg Tax Office; it is not possible to make payments to other tax offices using this method.

Step 1

• Click the below link to access the online payment form on the Neubrandenburg Tax Website
• https://ria.finanzamt-neubrandenburg.de/en/payform

Step 2

• Enter your information:
  • Last Name
  • First Name
  • Tax Number is located on the upper Left corner of your Bescheid begins with 070
  • What tax year is the payment for
  • How much in EURO
  • Click Blue Box Payment Processing (It will turn green once selected)

Step 3

• Review the Information, If NOT correct, Select Make Changes
  • Click the blue box Payment Method

Step 4

• Enter your credit card information
• Click Green Box PAY
• Save or print the receipt for your records
